There is something to be said about how powerful nostalgia can be. To this day, hearing the surfing theme in Pokemon RSE evokes a sense of… sentimentality. It’s an effect that modern games haven’t had on me, and I’m not sure why. Is it because I’m old? Are games actually less fun now? A combination of the two? Either way, here is a list of some of the favorite games I’ve played (details may be inaccurate because, you know - memory).
