I guess I’ve been taking subtitles for granted. Didn’t realize it wasn’t always a thing till recently, after I started playing a bunch of retro games (PS2)
I’m glad we live in a day and age where we have subtitles by default

I’ve been playing a lot of God Hand recently and it’s probably one of the hardest games I’ve ever laid my hands on. Literally every boss is walling me. I tried easy, thought I was getting the hang of it and switched to normal. And in retrospect, that was a huge mistake lol

It’s only been a few days, but I’ve gotta say, I really love my RP5. I’m getting older by the day (no shit, who isn’t) and that means:
And handhelds are sorta perfect for that. It’s kinda sad that the industry is going in the other direction with gaming “handhelds” - that is to say, they’re getting enormous. I don’t know if we’ll ever see a proper handheld from the likes of Sony or Nintendo again. Still, I have a lifetime’s worth of retro games to go through, and I’m more than ok with that.

I seriously hate that every console has different button layout schemes. It’s impossible to get used to when you’re switching between console types
